Extending sport’s helping hand to social development, the Telugu Titans announced their partnership with Naandi Foundation, associating themselves with Project Nanhi Kali which supports formal schooling for at least 10 years for girl children from underprivileged families. Pledging their support to Project Nanhi Kali, the Titans will celebrate each of their win in the second season of Star Sports Pro Kabaddi by sponsoring basic education for three girls from disadvantaged sections of the society.

Commenting on the association with the Naandi Foundation and Project Nanhi Kali, Owner of Telugu Titans, Mr. Srinivas Sreeramaneni said "As a team that believes in taking the spirit of the game beyond the mat, we are proud to be associated with Project Nanhi Kali. The fact that each of our wins would help us educate girls by providing them with the basic facilities, will act as added motivation for the Telugu Titans to win every match moving forward. We are proud to associate with the Naandi Foundation for their Nanhi Kali Project."

Project Nanhi Kali is jointly managed by K C Mahindra Education and Naandi Foundation and has been implemented across 9 states of India, supporting schooling needs of 1,20,000 girl students in over 3000 Government Schools in rural, tribal and urban areas. A ten-year old initiative, Project Nanhi Kali has cumulatively impacted lives of 2,00,000 girls. Every girl child sponsored through this project is entitled to daily tuitions, study materials, clothes and hygiene materials apart from other educational facilities throughout the academic year.

Commenting on the benefit of the association with Telugu Titans would mean to the girls, Chief Policy Officer Rohini Mukherjee, Naandi Foundation said, "This generous gesture from the Telugu Titans franchise comes as a well timed boost for Project Nanhi Kali because it will be the first time that our girls are linked to mainstream sports in the country. We hope to have a few local kabaddi laurels in our basket by the time Season 3 comes around."

With six wins under their belt, the Telugu Titans from Hyderabad have already sponsored eighteen girls and are hoping to support more by putting up some stellar performances in the forthcoming matches in Hyderabad, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune.
