The Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Stadium in Pune played host to Bengaluru Bulls’ home leg and served up some excellent kabaddi for the fans. Here we highlight some of the moments from the leg which stood out.

1. Rohit Kumar crosses the 500 raid point mark

Rohit Kumar looked to be in top form in his side’s home leg, scoring 56 raid points and regaining his golden touch. He led his side’s offence admirably and also crossed the 500 raid point mark in the process. At the end of Bengaluru Bulls’ home leg, he sat on 524 raid points from 64 games at an average of 8.19 raid points per game in his VIVO Pro Kabaddi career. He is currently one of just eight elite raiders on this list, joining his teammate Kashiling Adake, who has 553 raid points.

2. Rahul Chaudhari claims another record

Raid Machine Rahul Chaudhari added yet another record to his name in Match 86 of Season 6 where his team faced Bengaluru Bulls. With his third point of the game, he became the first ever kabaddi player to reach 800 total points in VIVO Pro Kabaddi. After recently becoming the first player to reach 700 raid points in the league, it seems like there is no slowing down for this talented raider.

3. Maninder’s magnificent run

Bengal Warriors had an excellent time in Pune as they won both their contest against the home team. Maninder Singh was their star during this run as he scored 14 raid points in the first match and followed it up with a 17 raid point performance in the second. He ended the leg with the second-best points tally by a visiting player in Season 6 of VIVO Pro Kabaddi, after Siddharth Desai’s 32 point performance during Puneri Paltan’s home leg.

4. Sandeep Narwal the raider comes to the fore

After Nitin Tomar had to be rested following an injury, Puneri Paltan had to cycle their raiders quite often to fill that void. In the game against Haryana Steelers they found a new raiding star in their ranks in All-Rounder Sandeep Narwal. After trailing 23-8 at halftime, Puneri Paltan unleashed Sandeep Narwal on the Haryana Steelers’ defence and he helped them take control with 6 raid points including a Super Raid which helped the team inflict an All-Out.

5. Pawan Kumar Sehrawat claims top spot

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat has been in excellent form for Bengaluru Bulls this season and he ended Bengaluru Bulls’ home leg at the top of the Best Raiders’ list for the season after finishing with 44 raid points. He had 168 raid points in 16 games at that point and his excellent form helped Bengaluru Bulls win three of their six home games and maintain a hold over the top position in Zone B.
