PREDICT YOUR PKL 12 CHAMPIONS | TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following are the terms and conditions ("T&Cs") are applicable to all interested persons ("Participant(s)") who are participating in the "Predict Your PKL 12 Champions" contest being hosted by the Mashal Sports Private Limited and/or through its agency(ies) (collectively, "Mashal") for promotion of the Pro Kabaddi League ("PKL") Season 12, on PKL's official website (https://www.prokabaddi.com) ("PKL Website") and official mobile app ("PKL App") (collectively, the "Contest").

1. These T&Cs / this document as available on https://www.prokabaddi.com/pkl-predict-the-champions-contest-terms-and-conditions is a legal agreement between the Participants(s) and Mashal and shall be considered as an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules thereunder as applicable and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000 from time to time. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signature(s).
2. This Contest will be conducted by Mashal on the PKL Website and the PKL App from 28^th October 2025 to 31st October 2025 (till 8:00 PM IST) ("Contest Period") in accordance with these T&Cs. All entries received after the expiry of the Contest Period shall not be entertained and shall be considered ineligible for the Contest and/or Gratification (as defined below).
3. By participating in the Contest, it is construed that the Participant(s) has/have read, understood and agreed to abide by these T&Cs.
4. The Contest is open all individual Participants who: (i) are above 18 (eighteen) years of age; (ii) of sound mind; (iii) hold valid proof of Indian citizenship and are residing in India; (iv) fully complied with applicable laws; (v) has accepted these T&Cs; and (vi) has consented to the Privacy Policy (as defined below) & Cookie Policy (as defined below).
5. There is no entry fee involved for participating in the Contest. Each Participant will be allowed to create only one account and make one entry. Multiple accounts cannot be created using the same ID. Any attempt by a Participant to submit more than one entry by using multiple and/or different accounts, identities, registrations, logins, addresses or through any other methods, may void all of such Participant's entries and such Participant shall be disqualified. Participant generated by script, macro, artificial intelligence or other automated means and entries by any means which subvert/circumvent the Contest process are void.
6. The Contest requires the following procedure to be followed:
   

   1. All Participants must proceed to the registration form page of this Contest on the PKL Website.

   2. After that, the Participant shall be required to fill in all the details as requested in the Registration Form and provide certain mandatory confirmations.

   3. After that, the Participant needs to submit the registration form to participate in the Contest.

7. Subject to compliance of applicable law and these T&Cs, any 3 (three) Participants (from the pool of Participants) who are selected through a random draw at the discretion of Mashal at the end of the Contest Period will be declared as Contest winners (collectively, "Winners"). The Winners, as decided by Mashal will be announced via the PKL's official social media handles or in such other manner as Mashal may decide.
8. The Winners will be contacted on 1^st November 2025 (or such later date as Mashal may deem fit) on the email ID that the Participant has registered on the PKL Website and/or the PKL App. However, if the concerned Winner does not respond within 24 (twenty-four) hours of Mashal sending the email, such Winner will be automatically eliminated from the Contest and shall not be eligible for any Gratification in which case Mashal (and/or its affiliates) shall not be responsible for any loss of Prize for the Winner(s) on account of such individual(s) sharing incorrect/ inaccurate details including email address whilst registering for the Contest.
9. The Winners will be provided with Pro Kabaddi League merchandise ("Gratification").
10. Mashal shall request the Winners to provide the following information:

    1. their name;

    2. their address in India for receipt of the Gratification;

    3. proof of residency in India;

    4. their contact number;

    5. a copy of government issued ID as proof in support of each of the above items; and

    6. signed confirmation that they are not employees (and/ or consultants and/or persons hired on contract and/or the members of their immediate family) of Mashal, JioStar India Private Limited, and/or their respective subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, advertising, promotional and/or contracted agencies or personnel.

11. It is a condition of entry/ participation that Winners consent to the publication of their names and social media platform identifiers (in the format of username, profile picture and/or submitted photo) (as applicable) on the relevant social media platforms as Mashal may deem fit for publicity purposes.
12. The selection of Winners shall be at the sole discretion of Mashal and Mashal's decision in relation to all matters relating to this Contest, including with respect to selection of Winners (as indicated above), disqualifications, if any, and outcome of the Contest, shall be final and binding upon all the Participant(s).
13. By participating in this Contest, the Participant hereby agrees and confirms that: (i) Mashal has the sole discretion to determine, undertake review as well as the shortlisting process and shall not challenge the same at a later point in time; and (ii) at no point in time is Mashal required to provide any rationale to the Participant for his/her inclusion or exclusion.
14. Mashal shall not be liable for non-receipt of any information by any shortlisted Participant, including due to errors or failures or deficiencies in dispatch services or in details provided by the Participant. Neither Mashal nor any of its affiliates shall be responsible or liable for any technical disruption, failure and/or any other difficulties of such nature in relation to the PKL Website and/or PKL App or otherwise, due to which the Participant is unable to get any information from Mashal and/or Mashal does not receive information from the Participant.
15. Mashal shall not be responsible for the quality or deficiency of the Gratification and no claim or request, whatsoever, in this respect shall be entertained by Mashal. Further, Mashal shall not entertain any questions, correspondence, enquiries on the manner of conduct of the Contest and grant of the Gratification from any party whatsoever.
16. The Winner(s) undertakes not to, in any manner whatsoever, divulge, publicise, or disclose any details whatsoever, including with respect to availing the Gratification by the Winner(s), to any other person or on any media platform, including on-air, on-print and/or online and every other form as may be applicable.
17. Mashal shall have the right, at its sole discretion, to change/ modify/ replace or omit the Gratification and/or cancel/extend the Contest without assigning any reason and the Winner(s) shall not have the right to claim any damages or monies from Mashal. In case of any dispute or difference in respect of this Contest, decisions of the Mashal shall be final, binding and irrevocable and by participating in this Contest, the Participant(s)/Winner(s) waives his/her right to make any such or other claims, of any nature, against Mashal / its affiliates.
18. Mashal / its affiliates take no responsibility, liability or any other expenses for the Winner(s) and does not take any responsibility or liability in case the Gratification is cancelled or re-scheduled or replaced for any reason whatsoever.
19. Notwithstanding anything contained herein, Mashal / its affiliates shall not be responsible to bear or reimburse any costs and expenses incurred by the Winner(s) in availing the Gratification and/or incurred otherwise. All such costs / expenses incurred by the Winner(s) in availing the Gratification and/or incurred otherwise shall be borne and paid solely by the Winner(s).
20. For the purpose of clarification and avoidance of doubt, the Gratification does not include any personal expenses of the Winner(s) and the Winner(s) shall be responsible for any additional expenses/incidental expenses required to be incurred to avail the Gratification and/or incurred otherwise.
21. The Winner(s) hereby represents and warrants that he/she will comply with all the T&Cs and Rules associated with the Contest and the Gratification, and that the Winner(s) shall personally be liable for any breach thereto.
22. Mashal / its affiliates shall not be responsible for any loss of entries for any reason, whatsoever including, due to any problems caused by telephone lines, service providers, network breakdowns, computer service delays, interruptions, network failures or overloads, or for lost, misdirected or misplaced entries, or for entries received after the Contest Period or for any reasons beyond the control of the Participant(s).
23. In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of the Mashal, and the Gratification not being made available to the Winner, or the Contest/ Gratification being cancelled, the Winner(s) shall not have the right to claim any damages or monies or replacement of Gratification from Mashal / its affiliates.
24. Income tax, gift tax or any other statutory taxes, duties or levies as may be applicable from time-to-time, arising out of the Gratification, shall be borne and paid by the Winner(s). In case the Winner fails to comply with the applicable laws or pay the requisite taxes, duties or levies, if any, required to be paid by the Winner, the Winner shall indemnify Mashal / its affiliates of any losses, claims, expenses, costs and actions for the same.
25. The Participant(s) acknowledge that they do not have any medical, physical and/or emotional condition which can jeopardize their eligibility for participation in the Contest and/or availing Gratification.
26. Mashal is not responsible for any errors or omissions in these T&Cs. All information provided in these T&Cs "as is"without warranty of any kind. Mashal makes no representations and disclaims all express, implied and statutory warranties of any kind to the Participant and/or the Winner(s) and/or any third party including, without limitation, warranties as to accuracy, timeliness, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for any particular purpose.
27. Mashal reserves the right to delete the entry or remove a Participant from the Contest. In the event that Mashal has a reason to believe that any information provided by the Participant(s) is wrong, fraudulent or any misrepresentation is made by the Participant. Mashal shall have the right to select any other Winner(s) for the Contest, at its discretion. Neither Mashal/ nor its affiliates nor their employees provide any assurances or guarantees regarding the Gratification. The Participant(s) agree not to hold Mashal and/or its affiliates and/or their respective employees responsible for any selection being carried out by Mashal and/or for any delay in receiving information, notifying, communication or for any deficiencies in services relating to this Contest and/or Gratification. Mashal and/or any of its affiliates shall not be held liable for any failure, inaccuracy, and/or any other defect or deficiency in the Contest and/or Gratification, in general.
28. It is clarified that no other gratification, cash equivalent or alternative prize will be awarded to the Winners. The Contest cannot be combined with any other activity. It is clarified that Mashal has no obligation to record the act of the Participant/Winners participating in the Contest or incorporate it in the telecast/ streaming of the matches/content or otherwise mention it on the Network (as defined below). If the Winner refuses to accept the Gratification, Mashal and/or its affiliates shall be released from all obligations towards such Winner/Participant(s).
29. The Participant(s) shall ensure that all information being submitted by them is decent and is not immoral, defamatory, abusive, offensive, insensitive, libelous, or blasphemous to any person, religious sect or section of society, etc. The Participant(s) further represents and warrants that all information being submitted by him/her shall be original, in compliance with applicable law and shall not infringe upon and/or contain any material that will infringe upon any third-party rights including rights in intellectual property. Mashal reserves the right to remove or disqualify any Participant that does not meet these criteria.
30. Mashal reserves the right to change the mechanism and/or cease an entry for the Contest for any reason or take any other steps in relation to the Contest as it may deem fit in its sole and absolute discretion.
31. Mashal shall have a right to ask for additional documents (if required) to provide Gratification. The Participants will be required to submit necessary supporting documentation, which shall compulsorily include the government photo ID-related details, to establish identity and compliance with these T&Cs and any applicable laws within the timelines specified by Mashal to be eligible for any Gratification. In the event any person fails to adhere to the instructions, then his/her selection shall be invalidated. In such a case: (i) Mashal and/or its affiliates shall not be liable in any manner whatsoever; and (ii) Mashal may, at its sole discretion, by the prescribed selection criteria choose other Participant(s)/ Winner(s) instead.
32. The Participant hereby provide his/her consent for collection, storage, use, transfer and retention of their personal information and sensitive personal data or information as defined under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules and regulations promulgated thereunder including the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 as may be amended from time to time (collectively, "Personal Information"), which Personal Information is subject to: the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which has been read and understood by the Participant. Additionally, the Participant agrees to, and understands the terms and conditions set out below:

    1. Any information (personal or otherwise) gathered pursuant to this Contest shall be subject to the privacy policy available at: https://www.prokabaddi.com/privacy-policy ("Privacy Policy") and cookie policy and cookie policy available at: https://www.prokabaddi.com/cookie-policy ("Cookie Policy"), which are incorporated herein by reference.

    2. The Participant's Personal Information is being collected by Mashal pursuant to these T&Cs in connection with the Contest and it is necessary for Mashal to collect the Personal Information for the Contest and the uses set out below.

    3. The Participant's Personal Information may be shared by Mashal/its affiliates with its/their affiliates, associates, authorities, agents, sponsors, employees, gratification suppliers, distributors, deliverers, and service providers (as applicable).

    4. Mashal has informed the Participant of the Participant's rights to: (i) review my Personal Information for deficiencies and inaccuracies, and request Mashal to amend the Personal Information, to the extent deemed feasible by Mashal; and (ii) withdraw the consent provided under this letter. Provided that Mashal shall not be liable for any collection, storage, use, transfer or disclosure of Personal Information prior to such withdrawal of consent or request for amendment of Personal Information. Additionally, upon any such withdrawal of consent or request to review and amend my Personal Information, Mashal shall be entitled to disqualify my entry and/or participation in this Contest, as deemed fit and necessary by Mashal at its sole discretion.

    5. All the Participant(s) Personal Information is true, correct and complete in all respects and in no circumstances will Mashal/its affiliates, or the production house be liable for either the authenticity of the Personal Information or any inaccuracies or deficiencies in my Personal Information.

    6. The Company has provided the Participant with the option to opt out of providing their Personal Information.

33. It is each Participant's responsibility to ensure that their Personal Information is always updated and accurate in order to be able to receive the Gratification/notification in time.
34. The Participant(s) hereby agree and undertake that mere announcement/declaration of being announced as a Winner shall not entitle him/her to the Gratification. Only upon fulfilling all rules mentioned herein, to the satisfaction of Mashal, including compliance with all precautionary measures, applicable laws and agreeing to the terms of the release letter (if applicable), shall the Gratification entitlement be validated.
35. The Participant(s) should not have any criminal conviction or an arrangement or a contract that prevents the Participant(s) from participating in the Contest. Proof of age of the Participant (s), if requested, must be submitted to Mashal (i.e., birth certificate, 10th Class leaving certificate/ School certificate/ passport/ an affidavit affirmed and signed by a magistrate) as may be required by Mashal to confirm the eligibility of the Participant(s).
36. Participant(s) shall provide such information as may be required by Mashal from time to time. Any incomplete submission will be considered invalid for the purpose of the Contest. Mashal also reserves the right to disqualify a Participant(s) in case a discrepancy is found to exist in the information furnished/provided/stated by the Participant at any point in time during the Contest.
37. The Participant(s) hereby agree and undertake that they shall not accept or undertake to accept/give or undertake to give, either directly or indirectly, any gifts, commission or other favour, of any kind whatsoever, to facilitate their winning the Contest. Any knowledge of such an act shall lead to immediate disqualification of such Participant(s) and Mashal shall be entitled to take any/all actions against such Participant(s), as deemed fit by it.
38. The Participant acknowledges that in case the conduct of the Contest cannot be fulfilled due to any reason, including reasons beyond the control of Mashal, such as war, industrial action, flood or any act of God, then Mashal or its affiliates shall not have any liability in this regard.
39. The Participant(s) shall hold harmless and indemnify Mashal, its affiliates, its group companies, their employees, officers, directors and/or any other person from and against any suits, actions, proceedings, causes of action, litigation, injury, damage, harm, loss, damage, liability, award, costs or expenses that may arise in connection with any act of the Participant(s) and/or entry including any third party rights claims with respect to the material submitted by the Participant(s).
40. The Participant(s) shall not in any circumstances make any claims against Mashal or its group companies and/or its parent, subsidiaries, associates, affiliates and group entities, and their respective directors, employees, officers, agents or representatives, arising out of or relating to any and all costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind, including, without limitation due to any technical faults (directly or indirectly), to the Participant(s) participation or non-participation in the Contest or any related activity. If any Participant is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these T&Cs, the corresponding entries will be disqualified. Mashal shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages or losses in connection with this Contest even if the Participant(s) has been advised of the possibility of such damages. The Participant(s) and the Winner specifically agree not to file in person/through any family member and/or any third party, any applications, criminal and/or civil proceedings in any courts or forum in India against Mashal / its affiliates, parent, subsidiaries, associates, and/or group entities, and their respective directors, employees, officers, agents or representatives to claim any damages or relief in connection with the Contest.
41. Employees of and/ or consultants of Mashal and/or its affiliates and/or persons hired on contract by Mashal/its affiliates, the sponsor, and the members of their immediate family, are ineligible to participate in the Contest.
42. In the event of any fault, misunderstanding or dispute concerning any part of the Contest, the decision of Mashal shall be final & binding. Each Participant hereby acknowledges and agrees that the relationship between the Participant(s) and Mashal and its group companies is not confidential, fiduciary, or any other special relationship.
43. The Participant(s) of the Contest agrees that if so required by Mashal, he/she shall make himself/herself available from time to time and co-operate with Mashal and participate in any activity and/or campaign ("Promotional Activity")of any nature and on any platform whatsoever without any money payable to, the Participant(s). The Participant(s) shall at no point of time refuse or disagree to participate in any such Promotional Activity for any reason whatsoever and shall not do any act either directly or indirectly during such Promotional Activity which may bring Mashal or any of its group companies into public disrepute or denigrate any of the preceding, or offend any community or public morals. In all public appearances, the Participant shall use their/her/his judgment in general demeanour and choice of language to create an atmosphere which would be conducive to the services and/or promotion of PKL, network and/or any channel(s), digital platform(s), social media or any other platform of Mashal and/or its affiliate company(ies) (collectively, "Network"). The Participant(s) agrees that the footage/ picture/ photograph of the Participant(s)used during the course of the Contest or for the purpose of the Contest shall vest with Mashal, including but not limited to all intellectual property rights and any other rights for worldwide and in perpetuity and Mashal may exploit the same in any manner and in any media whatsoever at any time throughout the world whether by itself or through its affiliates/group companies or on Network. The Participant agrees and consents to the use of any photograph/image/audio-visual recording/text/ information and/or other components of his or her entry on any platform as Mashal may deem fit for the purpose of promotion of PKL or the Network.
44. These T&Cs shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of India and exclusive jurisdiction over all matters arising out of or in relation hereto shall vest with the courts in Mumbai, India.
45. Each Participant agrees to use and access to the PKL Website and/or PKL App at his/her own risk. The PKL Website and/or PKL App and all parts thereof are provided "AS IS"and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, are provided without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Mashal and/or its affiliates and their respective officers, directors, employees, advisors, contractors and agents, partners and third-party associates make no warranties or representations about the accuracy or completeness of the content and data available on the PKL Website and/or PKL App and assumes no liability or responsibility for any (i) errors, mistakes, or inaccuracies in the content including these T&Cs, (ii) personal injury or property damage, of any nature whatsoever, resulting from Participant's access to and use of the PKL Website and/or PKL App, (iii) any unauthorised access to or use of our secure servers and/or any and all personal information and/or financial information stored therein, (iv) any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the PKL Website and/or PKL App, (v) any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like which may be transmitted to or through the PKL Website and/or PKL App by any third party, and/or (vi) any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use and access of the PKL Website and/or PKL App including loss of Participant's content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Mashal is advised of the possibility of such damages. The foregoing limitation of liability shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by law in the applicable jurisdiction. Without limiting the foregoing, Mashal does not make any warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, title, merchantability, completeness, availability, security, compatibility or non-infringement; or that the PKL Website and/or PKL App will be uninterrupted, free of viruses and other harmful components, accurate, error free or reliable. Mashal is empowered to take a decision on any case with respect to the PKL Website and/or PKL App not covered by the present T&Cs.
46. Mashal may, at any time, at its discretion, cancel the Contest, change these T&Cs, the Rules and/or the Gratification mentioned herein, without prior notice, and the Participant(s) acknowledge that such change shall be binding upon them.
47. The invalidity or unenforceability for any reason of any part of these T&Cs shall not prejudice or affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining parts and each part of these T&Cs is distinct and at all times severable from the rest of the T&Cs.
