Raiders play a crucial role in the making of a successful Pro Kabaddi League team. Certain raiders can single-handedly take away games from the opposition while others more often than not tend to hunt in pairs and in turn become potent raiding duos for their respective PKL teams. With that in mind, let's have a look at the top five raiding duos of PKL 10. 

Maninder Singh and Nitin Kumar - Bengal Warriors

Maninder Singh has remained consistent for Bengal Warriors over the years. He has featured among the top five highest scoring raiders in every season that he has been a part of and Season 10 was no different. Maninder amassed 197 raid points in the last PKL season and was the fourth highest raid points scorer in the league. His raiding partner, Nitin Kumar, who made his PKL debut in Season 10, also showed great maturity and earned 169 raid points for the Warriors. The duo of Maninder and Nitin scored 366 raid points together, making them the best raiding duo of PKL Season 10.

Narender and Ajinkya Pawar - Tamil Thalaivas

Narender and Ajinkya Pawar produced some raiding magic for Tamil Thalaivas in PKL Season 10. Narender, who was the standout raider in his first campaign for the Thalaivas in Season 9, continued his fine form in PKL 10 by scoring 186 raid points for his team, making him the top raider for the Thalaivas. Meanwhile, the most experienced raider in the side, Ajinkya Pawar supported him well by scoring 124 raid points in Season 10. This dynamic duo was excellent on the mat throughout the season and scored 310 raid points together.

Guman Singh and Amirmohammad Zafardanesh - U Mumba

Guman Singh has been the most prolific raider for U Mumba over the last two PKL campaigns. He raised the bar in Season 10 by bagging 163 raid points to finish among the top 10 raid point scorers of the campaign. He was well supported by Iranian Amirmohammad Zafardanesh, who was roped into the team with a lot of expectations and lived up to his billing by registering 141 raid points in his debut PKL season. Guman and Amirmohammad amassed 304 raid points in total for the Mumboys.

Sachin and Manjeet - Patna Pirates

The raiding pair of Sachin and Manjeet was among the most experienced in Season 10. Sachin, who was the Pirates’ lead raider, was on top of his game with 171 raid points and did an exceptional job as a leader over the course of the season. He also finished the campaign with the third most do-or-die raid points (38) and was ably supported in attack by Manjeet, who managed 115 raid points in PKL 10. Sachin and Manjeet played to each other's strengths, scoring 286 raid points and helping Patna Pirates qualify for the semi-final of Season 10.

Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat - Puneri Paltan

Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat have been among the most reliable players for Puneri Paltan for sometime now. This tried and tested duo of the Paltan performed consistently in PKL 10, contributing in attack and defence. Skipper Aslam led from the front with 142 raid points and played a vital role in his team’s success. Mohit Goyat wasn’t too far behind his skipper and chipped in with 122 raid points en-route to Puneri Paltan’s title triumph in PKL 10. This pair produced 264 raid points for the Paltan in PKL Season 10.
