5) Match 15: Telugu Titans 33-35 Patna Pirates

Two fabulous raiders Rahul Chaudhari and Pardeep Narwal went head-to-head in this intriguing contest. Eventually, it was the latter who took his team over the line in the dying minutes of the match.

Telugu Titans led by 32-25 when calamity struck the team from Hyderabad. The in-form Pardeep Narwal was sent to the bench but Rajesh Mondal emerged as the unlikely hero for his side. Mondal scored 3 points in the final two minutes of the game to give the defending champions the lead. ‘Showman’ Rahul Chaudhari failed to level the scoreline in his final raid of the match and Patna Pirates won the match by 35-33.

4) Match 3: Bengaluru Bulls 24-23 Bengal Warriors

Bengal Warriors dominated the proceedings against Bengaluru Bulls in their first encounter of the season. But the team from the south bounced back in the last five minutes of the match.

Trailing by 15-22, Rohit Kumar scored 4 points in 4 consecutive raids to lead Bengaluru Bulls' comeback. Corners Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar also combined well to stop the opponents and rescue their side in the dying seconds.

3) Match 40: Bengal Warriors 34-34 Telugu Titans

This clash between Bengal Warriors and Telugu Titans was a battle of two halves. Telugu Titans were in the driver’s seat in the first half with a score of 12-19 before Jang Kun Lee & Co. took control of the game.

The game-changing moment came in the final minute of the match when Bengal Warriors had a one-point advantage. The onus was on Rahul Chaudhari in the buzzer raid and the powerhouse raider rose to the occasion, helping Telugu Titans tie this topsy-turvy encounter.

2) Match 52: Dabang Delhi 31-32 Patna Pirates

It was another Pardeep Narwal show at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi as Patna Pirates edged past Dabang Delhi K.C. in a breathtaking encounter.

With both the teams tussling it out in full flow, the scores were level at 31-31 before the buzzer raid. Kashiling Adake, who led the hosts’ fight with his spectacular Super 10 failed to deliver in the final raid and it cost them the match.

1) Match 49: U Mumba 27-28 Bengaluru Bulls

Two Pro Kabaddi heavyweights, U Mumba and Bengaluru Bulls, locked horns at Mumbai’s Dome NSCI, SVP stadium in an enthralling battle. With a scoreline of 15-27, the hosts trailed by 12 points and Bengaluru Bulls looked in total control.

What followed was a spectacular comeback led by Anup Kumar. U Mumba scored 12 consecutive points to level the scores while Bengaluru Bulls failed to bag a single point. With the match tied at 27-27, Rakesh Kumar from U Mumba had the opportunity to seal the game in the buzzer raid, but Bengaluru Bulls’ defence got the crucial tackle point to save their team the blushes.
