Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 culminated in spectacular fashion earlier this month with Puneri Paltan claiming their first-ever PKL title after beating Haryana Steelers 28-25 in the final at the GMC Balayogi Sports Complex in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. Even though it was the Paltan who clinched PKL glory after three months of high-octane and gruelling action on the mat, plenty of players from other teams shone over the course of the landmark season. Here, we have a look at a few of those individuals in our Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Team of the Season.

Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 Team of the Season

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh (left corner) - The Iranian all-rounder enjoyed his best-ever PKL season yet in terms of points return. He finished the season with 126 points and contributed heavily in both attack and defence to help Puneri Paltan to their maiden Pro Kabaddi title. More than capable of chipping in with raids as his 27 raid points over the course of the season suggests, Mohammedreza Chiyaneh finished PKL 10 as the Defender of the Season with 99 tackle points.

Ashu Malik (left in) - One of the biggest revelations of Season 10, Ashu Malik who became the Raider of the Season was simply unstoppable on the mat and wreaked havoc on opposition defences. He finished the season as the joint-top raid points scorer with 276 raid points for Dabang Delhi K.C. and ensured that his team didn't miss the injured Naveen Kumar much. He averaged 12 raid points per match in PKL 10 and bagged nine Super Raids as well as 15 Super 10s, including a 20-point haul against Telugu Titans.

Jaideep Dahiya (left cover) - Another Haryana Steelers defender who had a big impact on the team’s fortunes, Jaideep Dahiya embraced the challenge of being the Steelers’ captain in Season 10. He led Haryana Steelers from the front and bagged 68 tackle points over the course of the season. Still a relatively young skipper, Jaideep Dahiya also finished the season with seven Super Tackles and six High 5s.

Pawan Sehrawat (centre) - A lot was expected of Hi-Flyer Pawan Sehrawat ahead of Season 10 and while his team Telugu Titans had a forgettable campaign, the ace raider played his part in giving the Titans the best possible chance of success. Despite a lack of support from the rest of his teammates, Pawan Sehrawat still managed to score 202 raid points, five Super Raids, and 13 Super 10s for Telugu Titans. The star raider also contributed 15 tackle points, including a Super Tackle and a High 5.

Mohit Nandal (right cover) - An integral part of Haryana Steelers’ formidable defence, Mohit Nandal finished Season 10 with 74 points - the most he’s ever managed in a single PKL season. A solid presence in defence for Haryana Steelers, Mohit Nandal’s 70 tackle points helped the Steelers reach the PKL 10 final. He chipped in with four raid points, including a Super Raid besides also registering six High 5s and Super Tackles in PKL 10.

Arjun Deshwal (right in) - Jaipur Pink Panthers' star raider enjoyed another solid campaign despite his team not being able to mount a successful title defence. He along with Ashu Malik were the joint-top raid points scorers with 276 raid points and his 17 Super 10s were the most by any player in the league in PKL 10. Deshwal also managed to register seven Super Raids and chipped in with two tackle points in Season 10.

Krishan (right corner) - Similar to Chiyaneh, defender Krishan enjoyed his best-ever PKL campaign yet after joining Patna Pirates ahead of Season 10. The top-scoring defender for the Pirates with 78 tackle points in PKL 10, only Chiyaneh finished the campaign with more tackle points than Krishan. A consistent performer throughout Season 10, Krishan finished the campaign with six High 5s and also executed five Super Tackles.
