Delhi face Bengaluru in an Inter Zone Wildcard clash, while Jaipur go up against Haryana in Zone A, desperate to keep their qualification hopes for the Playoffs alive. Delhi will be confident heading into the match after a confidence-boosting win against the Pink Panthers on Tuesday. Meraj Sheykh and Abolfazl Maghsodlou need to take starring roles if Delhi are to register back-to-back wins, while R. Sriram will be another player, who’ll want to end the campaign strongly with the northerners.

Bengaluru, meanwhile, will also head into the contest on the back of a win and will be looking for a strong finish to the season. Skipper Rohit Kumar has been a standout performer for them throughout and can be expected to lead from the front once again. Like Sheykh, Rohit Kumar has fought a lone battle for Bengaluru on multiple occasions this year. He is the leading raider for the Bulls with 156 raid points and is third on the leaderboard for Super 10s (9).

Jaipur will be fighting to keep their Playoffs prospects alive against a Haryana outfit, who’ve already qualified. The hosts will be banking on new stars like Tushar Patil, Pawan Kumar and Nitin Rawal – who bagged a Super 10 last night against Delhi. The experience of Jasvir Singh and Manjeet Chhillar haven’t always shone through this year, making Patil, Kumar and Rawal’s role in the team even more important.

However, getting past a Haryana team high on confidence after a well-fought victory against Telugu Titans will take some doing. The Steelers have displayed an array of attacking talent in the absence of Vikas Kandola. Wazir Singh, Deepak Kumar Dahiya, Surjeet Singh and Prashanth Kumar Rai have all played their part in the raiding department for the debutants, while Mohit Chhillar and captain Surender Nada have been too good in defence.
