Alpha International Academy lay hands on KBD Juniors trophy in Jaipur

In a contest of brain and brawn, schools from across Jaipur took on each other for the KBD Juniors trophy and Alpha International Academy emerged as champions after beating St. Edmund’s School 43-37 in the final.

Alpha International Academy started off their campaign in style with a 30-1 victory over Maharaja Sawai Bhawani Singh School. They then downed Seeding Public School 23-11 before their big win in the final. They were in complete command throughout their matches and deserved to walk away with the crown.

However, all 8 schools put in their best effort and the crowd also got what they had come for as there was some high-class kabaddi on display. The youngsters showcased the gamut of their skills and were cheered on by their parents, teachers and school staff who were present in the audience.

Already in its fifth season, VIVO Pro Kabaddi has captured the imagination of the young and old alike and now with KBD Juniors even the youngsters can aspire big. Jaipur Pink Panthers owner and Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan was present on the occasion to encourage each raid and tackle of the youngsters which boosted their confidence and pushed them to do well even more.

KBD Juniors now moves to its last leg in Pune where 8 more schools will battle it out to try and claim the title for themselves.
