We came across some top performances from our favourite teams and stars and they gave us plenty of moments to rejoice across the season. Each player had a dedicated role and position in the team and at times they had to switch their position as per the team’s requirements. 

Here we pick the top performers of the season for each of the positions in our vivo Pro Kabaddi team on a point basis. 

Centre - Arjun Deshwal, Jaipur Pink Panthers

He was at his dazzling best for the Jaipur Pink Panthers this season. He was the go-to raider for his captain, Sunil Kumar. He led the raiders charts and carried his sublime form throughout the season by scoring 296 raid points with the help of 17 Super 10s. He added valuable raid points at crucial stages of the game and took his side to the top position in the league stage. 

Right Cover - Sunil Kumar, Jaipur Pink Panthers

The experienced campaigner looked solid in the defence for the Panthers and guided them to the trophy win in the final with a High 5. He not just marshalled his troops as a captain but also chipped in with 64 tackle points and 4 High 5s this season. He showcased his prowess in the defence and turned out to be the best cover in the tournament.

Left Cover - Vishal, Dabang Delhi K.C.

The Dabang defender got going from the onset and scored the most tackle points for the side. He contributed 58 tackle points for Dabang Delhi K.C. that consisted of 3 High 5s in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9. Even though he couldn’t get his team past the Eliminator, he made a strong statement in the defence with the most tackle points for a left cover defender.  

Right In - Naveen, Dabang Delhi K.C.

The Naveen Express was unstoppable in the offence yet again and he led the Dabang Delhi K.C. team from the front. With 254 raid points in 23 matches, this was the third consecutive season in which Naveen scored more than 200 raid points. His consistency is what made him a reliable force in the attack.

Left In - Bharat, Bengaluru Bulls

The talismanic raider was in tremendous form for the Bulls this season. He was the top raider for the Season 6 champions and helped them to make it to the semifinal of vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9. Bharat was one of the biggest positives for the Mahender Singh-led side this season. He produced 279 points for Bengaluru Bulls in this edition. 

Right Corner - Saurabh Nandal, Bengaluru Bulls

He is primarily known for his defensive show as a left corner but he came into the limelight this season as the best right corner. He would be proud of his performance on the individual front as he lived up to his billing. He took up the defensive charge for the Bulls and ended the season with 72 tackle points. 

Left Corner - Ankush, Jaipur Pink Panthers

The debutant had a watchful start to the season and kept improving his quality with each passing match. He had a good head on his shoulders with great match awareness. Playing his first vivo Pro Kabaddi season, Ankush showed excellent maturity and potential for Jaipur Pink Panthers as a left corner. The young defender was the top defender of the season with 89 tackle points.
