Siddharth ‘Baahubali’ Desai will be turning up for Telugu Titans in Season 7.

Siddharth Desai's meteoric rise to stardom in VIVO Pro Kabaddi has been nothing short of staggering. The raider proved to be a master of his craft, terrorizing opposition defences with his raw power, shattering records at will and thriving during the toughest conditions imaginable for a raider - Do-or-Die raids. His chiselled physique, incredible physical strength and ability to thrive under pressure makes him the 'Baahubali' of VIVO Pro Kabaddi.

Desai made a huge impact on his VIVO Pro Kabaddi debut, scoring 15 points in the Maharashtra Derby against Puneri Paltan and continued in the same vein for the rest of the campaign. Desai became the quickest player to reach 50 raid points in VIVO Pro Kabaddi, achieving the feat in just four matches, one game quicker than ‘Iceman’ Ajay Thakur and Anup Kumar.

Blessed with overwhelming strength, which lets him power through tackles with ease, Desai continued striking fear amongst opposition defences and reached the 100 raid points mark in just 12 matches, equalling ‘Showman’ Rahul Chaudhari’s record and then claimed the record for quickest to 200 raid points, reaching the milestone in 19 outings.

Desai’s blockbuster season saw him score a total of 218 raid points, making him the first raider to ever cross 200 points in his rookie season. He was also the third-most successful raider of Season 6, only trailing ‘Hi-Flyer’ Pawan Kumar Sehrawat from Bengaluru Bulls and ‘Record-Breaker’ Pardeep Narwal from Patna Pirates.

Further accentuating Desai's incredible mental fortitude and his ability to deliver in clutch situations is his impeccable record in Do-or-Die raids. In those must-score situations, Desai managed 41 points in his 46 raid attempts, boasting an astonishing strike rate of 89.13 per cent, the best among all players with over 25 raid points in Do-Or-Die situations. Having been signed up by Telugu Titans for Season 7, Siddharth 'Baahubali' Desai will be looking to add a glorious second chapter to his VIVO Pro Kabaddi career.
