The penultimate day in the Inter Zone Challenge Week will see Telugu Titans cross swords with U Mumba, and U.P. Yoddha take on Haryana Steelers at the Babu Banarasi Das Indoor Stadium in Lucknow on Saturday. The Yoddha will be looking to put behind the dubious distinction of the being the only team to lose the opening encounter of their home leg this VIVO Pro Kabaddi season, while Mumbai look for their second win in Lucknow in as many days.

Match 36: Telugu Titans vs U Mumba

Head-to-head: Telugu Titans 3-3 U Mumba. 2 draws

Telugu Titans will be in search of their first win since the opening day of VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 5 against a U Mumba team high on confidence after a win against Lucknow on Friday. The Titans are currently on an eight-match winless streak and will be primarily relying on the raiding prowess of Raid Machine Rahul Chaudhari and Nilesh Salunke in attack. However, it’s the Titans defence, featuring the likes of Rakesh Kumar, Vishal Bhardwaj and Rohit Rana, that needs to tighten up if they are to upset Mumbai.

Mumbai, on the other hand, seem to be hitting top gear as the season develops. Led by inspiring Captain Cool Anup Kumar, U Mumba will be looking to carry the momentum of their incredible second-half comeback against the Yoddha into the encounter against the Titans. With Shabeer Bappu and Kashiling Adake also looking in excellent form for Mumbai of late, the Titans will have to produce a Herculean effort to beat the Season 2 champions.

Match 37: U.P. Yoddha vs Haryana Steelers

After a disappointing first match in their home leg, Lucknow will be desperate to set the record straight against Haryana. Rishank Devadiga will need to carry his form from the narrow loss against U Mumba last night into the game and hope that he receives enough support from the rest of his team to guarantee victory this time around. Skipper Nitin Tomar will also need to up his game against the Steelers if he expects his side to get back to winning ways soon.

Meanwhile, Haryana will be aiming to climb to second spot in Zone A with a win against Lucknow. They head into the contest on the back of a tie with Tamil Thalaivas, which also happened to be their second draw in the league this season. Wazir Singh, Surjeet Singh and Vikas Kandola can be expected to shoulder most of the responsibility in attack for the Steelers, while skipper Surender Nada and Mohit Chhillar will be entrusted with keeping things tight in defence.
