After a victory over the same opponents in Match 8 courtesy of a sensational performance from raider Pawan Kumar Sehrawat, Bengaluru Bulls will look to continue their unbeaten start.

Tamil Thalaivas will come off a four-day break and look to win their first away game, having been waiting for a victory since the opening day triumph over Patna Pirates.

Match 19 (Zone B): Bengaluru Bulls vs. Tamil Thalaivas

Head-to-head: Bengaluru Bulls 3-1 Tamil Thalaivas

Bengaluru Bulls started off Season 6 with an impressive display against Tamil Thalaivas, winning the match 48-37. The night belonged to Bengaluru Bulls’ Pawan Kumar Sehrawat, who scored 20 Raid Points in just 24 minutes for his side, including three Super Raids; the most in a match in Season 6. Sehrawat was so dominant on the night that he scored the most raid points without even putting in the most raids for his team. Bengaluru Bulls will hope that Sehrawat can deliver a similar performance against Tamil Thalaivas for the second time this campaign.

After a packed home leg that saw them play five games in five days, Tamil Thalaivas got a well-deserved break ahead of their game against Bengaluru Bulls. They will look to turn around their form this season and win their second game this campaign on Wednesday. Captain Ajay Thakur will be expected to lead his team from the front and given his form so far this campaign, it would take a brave man to bet against him doing so. One-Man-Army Manjeet Chhillar and Right Corner Amit Hooda have also showed flashes of brilliances and Tamil Thalaivas will hope that these two veterans can deliver in defence against an outstanding Bengaluru Bulls raiding unit.

The big battle-

Ajay Thakur vs. Rohit Kumar

The second and third best raiders from last season, Rohit Kumar and Ajay Thakur will take centre stage when the teams clash for a second time. Although his team has had a difficult start to the season, Tamil Thalaivas captain Ajay Thakur has been in inspirational form so far, leading the league in raid points with 59 so far in just five games. Tamil Thalaivas will need another big performance from their captain when they take on Bengaluru Bulls. Rohit Kumar led his side brilliantly in his Bengaluru Bull’s first match as they won by an 11-point margin. Kumar will look to kickstart his own season as a raider and have a big game against Tamil Thalaivas, as the captain’s form might be a key factor in deciding the team’s fortunes this season.

Key Khiladi-

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat – Bengaluru Bulls

With the performance of the season so far in his team’s opening game, all eyes will be on raider Pawan Kumar Sehrawat when he takes the mat against Tamil Thalaivas for the second time this campaign. The raider managed a five-point, four-point, and a three-point Super Raid each in his 20-point performance, leaving viewers marveled and awestruck by his brilliance. It will certainly be a treat for the eyes if he could repeat that feat against Tamil Thalaivas on Wednesday.

Athul MS – Tamil Thalaivas

Rookie raider Athul MS has emerged as the find of the season for Tamil Thalaivas this campaign and the team will hope that he delivers a big performance against Bengaluru Bulls on Wednesday. Athul is averaging six raid points and given the fact that he is the secondary raider, his performances so far have left an impression on everyone observing him play. Athul’s form will be a huge factor against a Bengaluru Bulls defence consisting of Super Tackle specialists Ashish Kumar and Mahender Singh.
