The big battle

Siddharth Desai vs. Naveen Kumar –

U Mumba succumbed to their fourth defeat this campaign in their previous match against Gujarat Fortunegiants but were alive in the contest till it’s last knockings largely thanks to Siddharth Desai. The raider showcased his machine-like consistency, scoring his ninth Super 10 of the season, as his team fell short by a narrow margin. Desai’s form has been highly critical for U Mumba in offence as he has contributed to 47.21% of their total raid points and that despite sitting out two matches and attempting only one raid in another. Desai sits atop the Best Raider rankings and, with six more in this contest, could become the first raider to hit the 150 raid points mark this campaign.

Another rookie who is grabbing the fans’ attention is Dabang Delhi K.C.’s Naveen Kumar. Among the youngest players in the league, Kumar has made the role of the lead raider at Dabang Delhi K.C. his own and has delivered big time for his team in the past few fixtures. Against Gujarat Fortunegiants, Kumar scored a crucial bonus points in a Do-Or-Die raid in the final minute of the match before Super Tackling Sachin to ensure victory for his side. In his past five outings, Kumar has scored 45 raid points at an average of nine, making him vital to the Dabang Delhi K.C. offence. The raider is just 11 raid points short of making it a 100 in his debut campaign and one won’t bet against him achieving that feat when his team takes on U Mumba.

Both U Mumba and Dabang Delhi K.C. boast of experienced campaigner in defence and are certain to make life difficult for both these raiders. The victor could also bring home a win for his side.

Key Khiladi

Fazel Atrachali – U Mumba

The leader in tackle points in VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 6, Fazel Atrachali has been at this destructive best in leading U Mumba by example this campaign. After just scoring a solitary tackle point in his last outing against Gujarat Fortunegiants, Atrachali will be itching to get back on the mat to redeem himself and take his side to the top of Zone A with a victory.

Ravinder Pahal – Dabang Delhi K.C.

Veteran Right Corner Ravinder Pahal has played at a very high level for Dabang Delhi K.C. in Season 6. He leads the team in tackle points with 31 and ranks third in assists with 12. With U Mumba boasting of two outstanding left raiders in Siddharth Desai and Rohit Baliyan, Pahal will have his hands full all night trying to contain U Mumba’s raiders.
