Raiders and defenders from every team have numerous varying roles to fulfil for the success of a team in Pro Kabaddi. On the attacking front, raiders are divided into two types - the main or lead raider and the secondary or support raider. Similarly, defenders in kabaddi carry out various roles depending on whether they are corner or cover defenders. The primary responsibility of corner defenders is to pick the right moment during an opposition raid to initiate tackles.

The corner defenders who are frequently the main targets for opposition raiders always need to be on their toes and in-sync with one another. In case a right raider raids from the opposite end, they will attack the left corner and vice versa. Hence, it is important for both the right and left corner to work in tandem and initiate tackles from the opposing end when the opposite corner is under attack. With that in mind, let’s take a look at the top corner duos of Pro Kabaddi League Season 10.
