As the penultimate day of the Lucknow leg came to an end on Wednesday, another set of closely fought matches was served to kabaddi fans. While Haryana Steelers registered a slender win over Dabang Delhi K.C., U.P. Yoddha’s quest for their maiden home victory ended in a draw against Tamil Thalaivas. But one man who outshone every other player on Wednesday was Yoddha star Rishank Devadiga.

Devadiga’s rampant attitude was evident in the first few minutes of the game as he opened his account with an excellent super raid to set the tone. He was successful in each of his first four raids and was the main initiator behind Chennai’s All-Out. He ended the match with a mammoth tally of 16 points.

Apart from the 14 raid points he picked up at will throughout the match, his tally of two tackle points is a thorough affirmation of how well he aided his team. His mega contribution, however, did not bear fruit for U.P. Yoddha who again let their lead slip away in the dying seconds to split the points.
