Meraj Sheykh was in absolutely devastating form as he guided Dabang Delhi K.C. to a 38-30 victory over Bengaluru Bulls at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Indoor Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday. The Bulls effected the first All-Out of the game and had the early advantage but little did they know that they were about to witness a raiding clinic from the Delhi skipper.

An absolute livewire on the mat, Sheykh demonstrated all of his skills. Whether it was the frog jump or him simply sidestepping defenders to take evasive action, Bengaluru’s defence simply had no answer to the Iranian.

He managed a total of 14 points on the night – all of which were touch points. He effected two All-Outs on the Bulls with two-point raids on both occasions to further underline his dominance on the mat. Eleven of his 21 raids ended in success, while he was caught by the defence on just one occasion. He also ended the match with a successful raid to bring a fitting end to a stunning performance.
