Name: Kashiling Adake

Team: U Mumba

Position: Raider

For a raider who scored 10 of his team's first 11 points and recorded a Super 10 in the opening 11 minutes, it's little wonder his efforts would define the course of the match. Kashiling Adake was in the driving seat for U Mumba on Thursday when his early burst broke Bengaluru Bulls' back at the Thyagaraj Sports Complex in Delhi.

He scored a massive 15 points in the first half, which included two incisive super raids, the latter of which hauled four points and helped inflict an early All-Out for the Bulls. Seven of his first eight raids bore points, and it was this relentless attack that handicapped the southerners.

During the course of the match, Adake became only the fourth player in VIVO Pro Kabaddi history to reach 500 points, his name now etched alongside Rahul Chaudhari, Anup Kumar and Pardeep Narwal.

Mumbai eventually claimed the encounter 42-30 thanks to a tight defensive show in the second half but no doubt it was Adake's early onslaught that had set the tone for the win.
