Arjun Deshwal and Jaipur Pink Panthers to face tough test against Pardeep and U.P. Yoddha

Suffering from Monday blues? Vivo Pro Kabaddi has the perfect cure with two exciting matches to look forward to. 

First, Manjeet and the Tamil Thalaivas will battle Fazel Atrachali and U Mumba. Then, the Record-Breaker Pardeep Narwal and U.P. Yoddha will be in action against Deepak Hooda and the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Match 15: Tamil Thalaivas vs U Mumba

The Tamil Thalaivas are hunting for their first win in vivo PKL Season 8. They were just one successful raid away from victory in their season-opener against the Telugu Titans but had to settle for a tie and were beaten convincingly by the Bengaluru Bulls in their second game. The offence, led by Manjeet, has been effective, unlike the defence that needs to tighten up.  

U Mumba were spectacular in their season-opener against the Bengaluru Bulls and had a nine-point lead in their second match against Dabang Delhi K.C. but ended up losing the game. U Mumba’s defence, especially skipper Fazel Atrachali, are yet to make their mark and will be looking to showcase their capabilities against the Thalaivas.

Since entering vivo PKL in Season 5, Tamil Thalaivas have played five games against the U Mumba and have won just once, losing the other four.

Match 16: U.P. Yoddha vs Jaipur Pink Panthers

The U.P. Yoddha have had a mixed start to their campaign, winning and losing a game each. Pardeep Narwal scored his first Super 10 with his new team in their previous outing against the Patna Pirates, but the mercurial raider is yet to hit top form and will be looking to do so against the Jaipur Pink Panthers.

Like U.P. Yoddha, the Pink Panthers have one win and one loss in their first two matches this season. Raider Arjun Deshwal has been producing the goods for his team and will be Jaipur’s trump card against a star-studded U.P. Yoddha defence.

Through five matches, the U.P. hold a slender 3-2 over the Jaipur Pink Panthers in their head-to-head clashes.
