Check out our preview for all three games:

Match 92: Haryana Steelers vs Bengal Warriors

The Haryana Steelers come into this game on the back of a disappointing loss against the Gujarat Giants. The usually reliable Haryana defence had an off night, as they could muster five tackle points while conceding 20 raid points. The raiding unit had a decent outing. Youngster Meetu had his best game in quite some time and finished the game with eight raid points. Skipper Vikash Kandola also picked up seven points, but the rest of the team failed to impress. The Steelers defence will have to be at their best against the Bengal Warriors’ raiding unit, or they could find themselves on the receiving end of another loss.

The Warriors have lost two of their last three matches and are 10th on the points table. They had a poor outing against the Gujarat Giants in their previous match. They managed only eight tackle points, with Ran Singh picking five of those, and could score 17 raid points while giving up 12 tackle points to the Giants’ defence. The Warriors sit only four points behind fourth-placed Jaipur Pink Panthers, but a defeat on Friday could prove to be detrimental in their quest for a playoff berth.

Haryana Steelers vs Bengal Warriors head-to-head

The Haryana Steelers have won four and lost only one of their five matches against the Bengal Warriors in vivo Pro Kabaddi. The Steelers are looking to complete a hat-trick of wins over the Warriors. They beat them 36-33 in Season 7 and upstaged them 41-37 in their first meeting this season.

Match 93: Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Bengaluru Bulls

Dabang Delhi K.C. suffered a 36-30 loss at the hands of the Jaipur Pink Panthers last night and will be looking to get back to winning ways on Friday. Raider Naveen Kumar returned to the mat after missing Delhi’s previous five matches but had a rough night and was subbed after playing only 19 minutes. While the MVP looked rusty, Vijay continued his sharp form and finished the game with 16 points. Delhi will be hoping he can deliver a similar performance on Friday. But even if he does, Delhi would need a much better defensive display than the one they showcased against Jaipur on Thursday. The defence scored only seven tackle points and conceded 21 raid points against the Pink Panthers, a dismal outing for an experienced unit. They’ll need to be on top of their game against a potent Bengaluru raiding unit.

The Bulls snapped their two-game losing streak with a hard-fought 31-26 over U.P. Yoddha in their previous outing. Left Corner Aman had a spectacular game and finished with a career-high seven tackle points. Skipper Pawan Sehrawat scored nine raid points and was well-supported by Bharat, who managed five. Bengaluru’s defence has been impressive at times, and coach Randhir Singh Sehrawat will hope for another stellar performance from his defensive unit.

Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Bengaluru Bulls head-to-head

The Bengaluru Bulls have won six and lost eight of their 15 matches against Dabang Delhi. One game between the two sides finished in a tie. In their first meeting this season, the Bulls trounced Delhi 61-22.

Match 94: Gujarat Giants vs Patna Pirates

The Gujarat Giants have clawed back into the reckoning for a playoff spot with two straight victories. Thrusting Ajay Kumar and Pardeep Kumar into the starting seven has worked like a charm, as the duo have a combined 37 points in the Giants’ last two matches. The defensive unit has also improved, scoring nine and 12 tackle points in the past two outings. The Giants are peaking at the right time and can finish the night in the top six. Coach Manpreet Singh will settle for nothing less than a third straight win for his side.

The Patna Pirates bounced back from their showing against the Jaipur Pink Panthers with a hard-fought 37-35 victory over U.P. Yoddha. Raider Sachin scored his second Super 10 of the season, while Mohammadreza Chiyaneh picked up his fourth High 5 of the season. Only one player has more High 5s than the Pirates’ rookie Left Corner in Season 8. Coach Ram Mehar Singh will have concerns about the defence. The Pirates have given up 86 points in their last two matches after giving up only 84 in their three games before that. If Patna can curb the points leakage, the Giants will have their work cut out on Friday.

Gujarat Giants vs Patna Pirates head-to-head

The Gujarat Giants hold a 5-3 lead in their head-to-head series against the Patna Pirates. The Pirates narrowly edged out Gujarat Giants in their first meeting this season, beating them 27-26.
