A 14-point outing from Pardeep Narwal and nine from Surender Gill saw U.P. Yoddha beat the Jaipur Pink Panthers 41-34. With this win, U.P. climbed to fourth on the VIVO Pro Kabaddi points table.

The Pink Panthers raced to a 5-0 lead, courtesy of two points from Sahul Kumar and Arjun Deshwal, and another tackle point from Deepak Singh. U.P. found themselves on the brink of an early All Out but managed to escape it due to Ashu Singh’s all-round brilliance.

The defender first picked up a couple of points as the last man on the mat for his side and then Super Tackled Deshwal to help U.P. bring parity to the scoreline. But two unanswered points from Jaipur reduced U.P. to a solitary man again, and the Pink Panthers' defence made no mistake in pinning the raider down to inflict the game’s first All Out and take a four-point lead.

Jaipur maintained their four-point advantage for the majority of the half, but a two-point raid from Surender and a point each from Pardeep and the defence ensured U.P. go into halftime trailing by only one point.

In the first raid of the second half, Pardeep went in against three defenders, tagged them all before getting his hand across the midline for a five-point Super Raid, which saw U.P. take the lead.

Deshwal helped Jaipur cut the deficit to just two points, but a 5-3 run from U.P. saw them reclaim their four-point lead. Jaipur responded with a 3-1 run to cut U.P.’s lead to two, but Pardeep’s second Super Raid of the half pushed his team’s lead back up to five.

A Super Tackle from their defence and Deshwal’s stellar raiding helped the Pink Panthers keep the All Out at bay and cut their deficit to a solitary point. Sandeep Dhull then pinned down Gill with a sensational Ankle Hold to level the scores with three minutes left in the contest.

Nitesh Kumar and Pardeep helped U.P. pull ahead on the scoreboard and reduced the Pink Panthers to just three players on the mat with enough time left for one more raid. Pardeep shouldered the responsibility of going in for the final raid, and the Record-Breaker wiped out the entire defence for a five-point Super Raid to help U.P. register a crucial win.
