On Sunday, we will witness two blockbuster encounters in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. In the first fixture, U Mumba will battle it out with Gujarat Giants while Bengaluru Bulls will meet U.P. Yoddhas in the second game of the night.

Match 118: U Mumba vs Gujarat Giants

U Mumba will be eager for a win after a loss in their last two outings. They have won nine games and lost 10 matches this season and will be hoping that their main raider Guman Singh (130 raid points) can lead from the front. He will hope for support in attack from the likes of Ashish (89 raid points) and Jai Bhagwan (63 raid points). In defence, Rinku with 55 tackle points has been their top performer while Mohit and skipper Surinder Singh have contributed 37 and 35 tackle points respectively.

Gujarat Giants, meanwhile, have managed seven wins, suffered 11 losses and played out one tie this season. They will be hoping that the likes of Parteek Dahiya (136 raid points) and Rakesh (128 raid points) can have an impact on the game, while their captain Chandran Ranjit (94 raid points) will also be keen to make his presence felt. Defensively, Sourav Gulia (34 tackle points) and Arkam Shaikh (33 tackle points) have been the Giants’ best performers, while Rinku Narwal has also chipped in with 26 tackle points.

U Mumba vs Gujarat Giants head-to-head

U Mumba and Gujarat Giants have clashed 11 times. U Mumba have won four times and Gujarat Giants have come out on top in six matches. One game ended in a tie. 

Match 119: Bengaluru Bulls vs U.P. Yoddhas

After a loss in their last game, Bengaluru Bulls will be hoping to return to winning ways. They have 11 wins, seven losses and one tie this season. Bharat (229 raid points) and Vikash Kandola (104 raid points) have led their attack, while Neeraj Narwal has contributed 73 raid points so far. On the defensive front, Saurabh Nandal has been the team’s main man with 55  tackle points, while Aman and Mahender Singh have chipped in with 42 and 35 tackle points respectively.

U.P. Yoddhas, on the other hand, are in a good run of form with four successive wins. They have 11 wins, six losses and two ties in Season 9. Pardeep Narwal (198 raid points) and Surender Gill (132 raid points) are their biggest attacking threats, while Rohit Tomar has also stepped up when needed with 59 raid points. As far as their defence goes, Sumit with 49 tackle points and Ashu Singh with 45 tackle points are the Yoddhas’ top performers. Nitesh Kumar and Gurdeep have also contributed with 31 and 27 tackle points respectively.

Bengaluru Bulls vs U.P. Yoddhas head-to-head

Bengaluru Bulls and U.P. Yoddhas have met 12 times with the former winning seven games and the latter emerging victorious on five occasions.
