On Saturday, we will get to witness another triple header in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 at the Gachibowli Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad. In the first game of the evening, U Mumba will battle it out against Bengal Warriors, while Puneri Paltan will square off against Telugu Titans in the second fixture and U.P. Yoddhas will meet Patna Pirates in the final game.

Here are our previews for Day 43.

Match 101: U Mumba vs Bengal Warriors

U Mumba are currently near the bottom of the table with eight wins and eight losses. Guman Singh has been the ace raider for U Mumba with 103 raid points so far. Ashish and Jai Bhagwan have provided support to Guman with 69 and 54 raid points respectively. In defence, Rinku has stood tall for the Mumboys with 43 tackle points. Surinder Singh and Mohit have also chipped in with 31 and 30 tackle points respectively. Ashish has showcased his defensive skills with 21 tackle points while Harendra Kumar has also got 21 tackle points for U Mumba.

Meanwhile, Bengal Warriors have secured eight wins, suffered six losses and played out two ties. Maninder Singh has looked calm and composed in offence and has scored 185 raid points for the Warriors. Shrikant Jadhav and Deepak Hooda have made their experience count with 79 and 42 raid points respectively. Girish Maruti Ernak was on top of his game in his previous match and has scored 46 tackle points in this campaign so far. He has got support from Shubham Shinde and Vaibhav Garje who have amassed 29 and 25 tackle points respectively.  

U Mumba vs Bengal Warriors head-to-head

U Mumba and Bengal Warriors have met on 17 occasions. U Mumba have got the upper hand with 12 wins while Bengal Warriors have secured a win in four matches. One match ended in a tie. 

Match 102: Puneri Paltan vs Telugu Titans

Puneri Paltan are on top of the points table with 11 wins, four losses and two ties. Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat have delivered when it’s been needed for the Paltan and they have scored 124 and 120 raid points respectively. Akash Shinde has also shown good quality in recent matches and has managed 88 raid points. On the defensive front, Fazel Atrachali has shown his class with 40 tackle points and he’s had support from Sombir who has scored 32 tackle points, while Sanket Sawant is their next best defender with 20 tackle points.

Telugu Titans have two wins and 15 losses this season but they have shown some spark in their last two matches. Siddharth Desai has been in good form for the Titans and has managed 142 raid points. The Titans have got other quality raiders like Monu Goyat (32 raid points) and Abhishek Singh  (29 raid points) while Vinay has also looked good for his 37 raid points. As far as the defence is concerned, Vishal Bhardwaj and Parvesh Bhainswal have shown their strength in the last few matches and have scored 40 and 33 tackle points respectively.

Puneri Paltan vs Telugu Titans head-to-head

Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans have battled it out 17 times in vivo Pro Kabaddi. Out of these, Puneri Paltan have won on 10 occasions whereas Telugu Titans have won six games. One game concluded in a tie. 

Match 103: U.P. Yoddhas vs Patna Pirates

U.P. Yoddhas have eight wins, six losses and two ties in vivo PKL Season 9 and they head into Saturday’s contest on the back of a win. Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill have been the Yoddhas’ main attacking threats as they have scored 156 and 132 raid points respectively. Rohit Tomar has also performed well of late for the Yoddhas and has a total of 47 raid points in the ongoing campaign. On the defensive front, Ashu Singh and Sumit have scored 41 tackle points each for the Yoddhas. The experienced Nitesh Kumar has also chipped in with 27 tackle points.

Patna Pirates, meanwhile, are eighth in the standings with seven wins, seven losses and three ties. They suffered a defeat last night and will be eager to set things right against the Yoddhas. To beat U.P. Yoddhas, they will be hoping that Sachin (148 raid points) and Rohit Gulia (114 raid points) can perform to the best of their ability in attack. In defence, the Pirates boast one of the most dominant defenders in the league in Mohammadreza Chiyaneh, who has managed 59 tackle points so far. The likes of Sunil and skipper Neeraj Kumar have also chipped in with 37 and 24 tackle points respectively. 

U.P. Yoddhas vs Patna Pirates head-to-head

U.P. Yoddhas and Patna Pirates have played against each other in 12 matches. U.P. Yoddhas have won four games while Patna Pirates have won seven matches. One match finished in a tie.
