Match 88: Telugu Titans vs U Mumba

After a loss in their opening match of the Hyderabad leg, Telugu Titans now find themselves with just one win and 14 defeats this season. While Siddharth Desai has done his job as one of the team’s main raiders with more than 100 raid points this season, the likes of Monu Goyat and Vinay need to support him in attack. Abhishek Singh has looked good in the last few games after missing a lot of the early season action and needless to say, he can be a big attacking asset for the Titans. The Titans’ defensive trio of Vishal Bhardwaj, Surjeet Singh and Parvesh Bhainswal also need to raise their game and act in unison in the upcoming matches.

U Mumba, on the other hand, will be eager to bounce back after slipping up in their last outing. They have managed eight wins and suffered six losses in the ongoing campaign. Their main man in offence has been Guman Singh, who has managed 91 raid points this season, while the  likes of Ashish (65 raid points) and Jai Bhagwan (46 raid points) have also contributed and will look to do more. As far as their defence goes, Rinku has been their top performer with 38 tackle points while Surinder Singh (31 tackle points) and Mohit (26 tackle points) have also made their presence felt.

Telugu Titans vs U Mumba head-to-head

Telugu Titans have faced U Mumba on 15 occasions with the Titans winning four games and the Season 2 champions winning nine times. Two matches between the teams ended in ties.

Match 89: Dabang Delhi K.C. vs Patna Pirates

Dabang Delhi K.C. need to start winning quickly if they still are to qualify for the playoffs and successfully defend their vivo PKL title. They have won six games and lost eight times. To get a win on Saturday, their talisman Naveen Kumar (149 raid points) needs to hit top gear, while Ashu Malik (93 raid points) and Manjeet (54 raid points) also need to stand up and be counted. In defence, Vishal with 31 tackle points has been their best performer alongside Krishan (30 tackle points), Ravi Kumar (20 tackle points) and Vijay Kumar (17 tackle points).

As far as Patna Pirates are concerned, they will want to get a win after a tie in their previous outing. The three-time champions have managed six wins, five losses and three ties this season. Their raiding duo of Sachin (117 raid points) and Rohit Gulia (85 raid points) have done most of the work in attack.
