Dabang Delhi K.C. made it three wins from three in VIVO Pro Kabaddi Season 7 after a 41-21 win over Haryana Steelers at the DOME@NSCI SVP Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday. Both Chandran Ranjit and Naveen Kumar registered Super 10s as Dabang Delhi K.C. kept their 100% win-record intact.

Dabang Delhi K.C. coach Krishan Kumar Hooda and captain Joginder Narwal spoke to reporters at the post-match press conference, while Haryana Steelers coach Rakesh Kumar and raider Naveen were also present to take questions.

Dabang Delhi K.C.

Q. Thoughts on the match.

Krishan Kumar Hooda: I am very happy with the win. This was our third victory on the trot. The credit for this victory goes entirely to teamwork. Our team is playing well and hopefully will keep performing in this manner. We have talented youngsters and an experienced captain like Joginder Narwal as well as Naveen Kumar, a star in the making. Chandran Ranjit, too, played very well today.

Q. Two raiders from your team scored a Super 10 today, which is a rare feat. How do you feel about that?

Krishan Kumar Hooda: Naveen Kumar has done it before this season but Ranjit is an outstanding raider as well. Between Naveen Kumar and Ranjit, it's hard to pick who is the best. Both are brilliant. I am very happy to be their coach.

Q. Joginder, thoughts on defender Saeid Ghaffari who scored four tackle points on his first start in VIVO Pro Kabaddi?

Joginder Narwal: We have lots of options in each of our defensive positions. So, we have the option to try out different combinations, as per the coach's plans. Ghaffari did well today.

Q. Your opposition coach from today, Rakesh Kumar, and Puneri Paltan coach Anup Kumar were ex-players who recently entered the realm of coaching. Your impressions on them so far?

Krishan Kumar Hooda: Both Rakesh and Anup have been star players for India. They are still new to the coaching realm. They are still young and I hope they become great coaches in the future.

Haryana Steelers

Q. Thoughts on the match.

Rakesh Kumar: The raiders followed the plan we had decided on in the initial stages. The defence, however, failed to do so and made mistakes. Our defence took rash decisions which cost us the match.

Q. Thoughts on Naveen's performance?

Rakesh Kumar: This is a team game. Naveen played well but he can't win a match alone. As I said, the raiders did well but mistakes in the defence cost us. I am happy with Naveen's performance and I hope he continues performing like this in the upcoming matches.

Q. Approach for upcoming matches.

Rakesh Kumar: We made mistakes today and we need to learn from them. We need to work as a team if we want to win. We will work on our defence for the upcoming matches.

Q. Naveen, what was your plan while raiding against Dabang Delhi K.C.?

Naveen: I wanted to be aggressive and I looked to take the game to the opposition defence. It worked out initially. As the coach said, we made a few mistakes in defence and we lost.
