We will witness fascinating pangas on Wednesday in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 9 at the Shree Shivchhatrapati Sports Complex, Balewadi in Pune. U Mumba will face Telugu Titans in the first match while Bengal Warriors will take on Tamil Thalaivas in the second match.

Match 54: U Mumba vs Telugu Titans

U Mumba have five wins and three losses to their kitty and are coming into this match after registering back-to-back wins and will be looking to make it three wins in a row. Guman Singh has been a top raider for U Mumba with 61 raid points. The energetic raider has been aided by Jai Bhagwan and Ashish who have scored 32 and 31 raid points respectively. In the defence section, captain Surinder Singh is leading the side by example as he has scored 25 tackle points and has been supported by his deputy Rinku who has scored 22 tackle points. The left corner Mohit has also played his part with vital 16 tackle points.  

Telugu Titans, on the other hand, will desperately look to bounce back after their six-match winless run. The Hyderabad-based franchise have secured one win and have eight losses against their name. Siddharth Desai has been the best raider for the Titans with 36 raid points but he will look to improve with more successful raids on the mat. Vinay and Monu Goyat are not far behind Desai as they have 32 and 31 raid points to their credit. Telugu Titans defence has got some big names in their squad and they have a huge job on their hands. Vishal Bhardwaj has managed to score 12 tackle points in nine matches while Surjeet Singh and Parvesh Bhainswal are next on the list with 10 tackle points each.

U Mumba vs Telugu Titans head-to-head

U Mumba and Telugu Titans have squared off in 14 matches. Out of which, U Mumba have won eight matches while Telugu Titans have won four. Two matches ended in a tie.

Match 55: Bengal Warriors vs Tamil Thalaivas

Bengal Warriors have had a roller coaster ride so far this season with four wins and four losses. Skipper Maninder Singh has been the star performer in the offence with 64 raid points and has been assisted by Shrikant Jadhav who has scored 40 raid points. The all-rounders Manoj Gowda and Deepak Hooda have contributed 18 and 16 raid points for the Warriors. As far as defence is concerned, Girish Maruti Ernak has been the pick of the defenders with 29 tackle points and has been helped by Vaibhav Garje and Shubham Shinde who have chipped in with 20 and 18 tackle points.

Tamil Thalaivas looked mighty impressive in their previous match against Dabang Delhi K.C. to win in some style. They have three wins, four losses and a tie on the points tally. Narender has turned out to be one of the important assets for the Thalaivas with 84 raid points. Himanshu Singh, Himanshu and Ajinkya Pawar have played their part in the raiding department and will look to add more value to the side. In defence, Sahil Gulia and Sagar have been the key contributors with 20 and 18 tackle points. The right cover, M. Abishek has added 15 tackle points in the defence. 

Bengal Warriors vs Tamil Thalaivas head-to-head

Bengal Warriors and Tamil Thalaivas have faced each other in 10 matches. Out of these, Bengal Warriors have won nine matches whereas Tamil Thalaivas have won one.
