A super raid by Jasvir Singh, coming out of an injury tilted the match in favour of Jaipur Pink Panthers as they beat Bengaluru Bulls 30-21 for their fourth win in nine matches in the Season 3 of the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi in the opener at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in the Pink City of Jaipur.

Though Jasvir Singh came off with that magical moment in the 34th minute to settle the argument it was the untiring efforts of all-rounder Rajesh Narwal that laid the foundations of this important win. It keeps the hosts in the hunt for a play-off berth with a tally of 25 points. Bengaluru Bulls for whom this was the eighth defeat lie in seventh place with 13 points and their chances have totally receded.

Bengaluru kept pace with their rivals in the first half before conceding a solitary point lead at 9-10 in the dying moments. In fact they even led for most part, 15 minutes to be precise at 9-6. It was quite interesting to see two leading raiders Jasvir Singh and Surjeet Narwal fail to score in the first twenty minutes.

Rajesh Narwal who is having a good season was his usual self with less fuss and more action. He had two raid points but had three tackle points for a change with a super tackle on the dangerous Pawan Kumar. That brought his side closer and Vinoth Kumar the rival substitute gave that crucial point by stepping in the lobby. But Vinoth Kumar gave a good account by getting three raid points. Sonu Narwal looking silent as ever did his job of getting two raid points and the most unlikely contribution came from Ran Singh with two raid points for the winners.

Bengaluru Bulls were in the contest till the 27th minute when they were all-out for the first time today. From 19-13 it was the winners all the way. They forced the second all-out in the 36th minute to set seal on a deserving win. Rajesh Narwal ended with a tally of eight points for the match with four raid and tackle points each. Vinoth Kumar ended with five, Somvir with four tackle points with a super tackle early in the second half. Young Pawan Kumar had six with one tackle point for the Bengaluru Bulls.
