After making the Super Playoffs for the first two seasons of VIVO Pro Kabaddi, Season 2 runners-up Bengaluru Bulls have missed the knockout stages in the past two seasons. To get back to their winning ways, the Bulls went big in the auction and bought raider Kashiling Adake to partner up with captain Rohit Kumar and form one of the most dynamic raiding duos in the league.

With the capture of Adake and a host of retentions, the Bulls have created a young roster that will be gunning to go far in Season 6 of VIVO Pro Kabaddi.

Team Highlights

Premium raiders

The Bulls boast of a bossy raiding duo comprising of Kashiling Adake and Rohit Kumar, both of whom feature among the top 10 raiders of all-time in VIVO Pro Kabaddi history. Skipper Rohit Kumar finished second in raid points in Season 5 and Adake, a former Best Raider award winner, was the top raider for U-Mumba.

With a stacked raiding department, Bengaluru’s offence will be one to watch out for in Season 6.

Excellent cover duo

The cover duo of Ashish Kumar and Mahender Singh are a fascinating prospect for the Bulls. The veteran Kumar and Singh will add much needed steel to the Bengaluru defence.

Although they are quite well-equipped in the cover department, the one area that the Bulls are short-handed in is the corner position. With Amit Sheoran and Raju Lal Choudhary being the most recognisable names in the corner department, they will have to prove they have what it takes to safeguard the Corners of such a raid heavy team.

Youngsters will get plenty of game time

The Bulls roster is loaded with talented young players, like Harish Naik, Sumit Singh, Pawan Kumar Sherawat and Anand V. Bengaluru will be relying on these youngsters to carry them through the season. A strategy like that had the potential to not come good but from the experience of last season, the Bulls will be hoping it will help them hit the jackpot. The fearless attitude and eagerness of these youngsters could take the Bulls far in Season 6.
