VIVO Pro Kabaddi has seen a number of milestones being set by teams over the last six seasons; and now, with a new format in place, fans can expect their favourite teams to breach new frontiers yet again. With the new season drawing near, here is a look at some of the major team milestones which fans may witness in Season 7.

Bengaluru Bulls are close to becoming the third team with 50 wins in VIVO Pro Kabaddi

4000 points – Patna Pirates

Spearheaded by ‘Record-Breaker’ Pardeep Narwal’s prolific raiding, Patna Pirates have been scoring points almost at will. Their scoring prowess was demonstrated in its full glory during Season 5 as they became the first team to cross 1000 total points in a single season. They now sit on 3883 points and are primed to become the first team to cross 4000 total points in VIVO Pro Kabaddi history.

50 wins – Bengaluru Bulls

Defending champions Bengaluru Bulls had an excellent campaign in Season 6 and now sit on 48 wins from 106 matches. They have a chance to become only the third team to cross 50 wins in VIVO Pro Kabaddi after U Mumba and Patna Pirates. If reigning MVP Pawan Kumar Sehrawat’s form continues, it will only be a matter of time before they get there.

500 Do-or-Die raid points – Puneri Paltan

Puneri Paltan have made quite a name for themselves in VIVO Pro Kabaddi for being able to deliver when the pressure is on. They are currently on 458 Do-or-Die raid points and are one of only two teams to have more than 100 Do-or-Die raid points in a single season. With players like Nitin Tomar and Pawan Kumar Kadian in their ranks, they certainly have the firepower in Season 7 to get to the coveted 500 mark.

150 All Outs inflicted – U Mumba

With ‘Sultan’ Fazel Atrachali on their side, U Mumba have developed a remarkable killer instinct as proven by their 41 All-Outs inflicted in Season 6, the most by any team that season. They are currently on 145 overall All-Outs and are preceded only by Patna Pirates with 165.

100 Super Tackles – Jaipur Pink Panthers and Telugu Titans

Patna Pirates and Puneri Paltan are currently the only two teams to have more than 100 Super Tackles to their name but they could soon be joined by Jaipur Pink Panthers, who are on 98 and Telugu Titans who stand at 94. Jaipur Pink Panthers have Super Tackle specialist Sandeep Dhull in their ranks while Telugu Titans possess the destructive defensive duo of Vishal Bhardwaj and Abozar Mohajermighani, making the race to become the third team to the milestone an interesting one.
