Kabaddi is a team sport where we find raiders and defenders showing their prowess on the mat, but there are a few players who have the capability of performing both duties for their respective sides. The all-rounders hold a key position in any team’s starting 7 as they can have an impact in the raid as well as in the defence.  

Let’s take a look at the top all-rounders from this edition of vivo Pro Kabaddi.

Parteek Dahiya, Gujarat Giants

The dynamic all-rounder made an impact in his first vivo Pro Kabaddi season in both departments. He was lightning quick with his raids and also showed his capability in defence. He was a valuable asset for Gujarat Giants as he produced 183 points that include 178 raid and 5 tackle points. 

Rohit Gulia, Patna Pirates

He has got enough experience under his belt and his presence on the mat can put pressure on the opposition. Rohit Gulia possessed some top quality skills with his raids but was also able to play a decent role in helping out Patna Pirates’ defensive unit. He scored 148 points and was the second best raider for his team.   

Mohammadreza Chiyaneh, Patna Pirates

The Iranian had a massive impact on Patna Pirates’ success this season as there was no escape from his solid grip. Mohammadreza Chiyaneh was a vital cog in the wheel for his side. The fearless all-rounder created history by scoring 16 tackle points in one of the matches this season. In total, he contributed 89 points for the Pirates in the tournament.

Vijay Malik, Dabang Delhi K.C.

The Season 8 sensation missed out on the initial half of the season due to an injury but made a strong comeback for Dabang Delhi K.C.. He straightaway made an impact after his return with back-to-back Super 10s. Vijay Malik was decisive in this campaign, helping Dabang Delhi K.C. to make it to the Playoffs by scoring 82 points for the side. 

Deepak Hooda, Bengal Warriors

The veteran made his presence felt for Bengal Warriors with 56 total points that include 47 raid and 9 tackle points. His potency and ability to score points at a critical juncture of the game encouraged the other raiders of his side to play their natural game. With his experience and value, he also added two Super Raids to his tally in the campaign.
