VIVO Pro Kabaddi League entered its eighth edition after a period of two years and it was worth the wait. The teams were all eager to unleash their potential on the mat as the league became grander and more competitive. While a few teams asserted total dominance over the other, some teams engaged in a see-saw battle that often ended in thrilling wins or heartbreaks.

An all-out is a situation where a team is able to get all the seven players of the opposition out of the mat, either by earning raiding or defensive points. A team earns two points for scoring or enforcing an All-out and is considered to be an important aspect for a team in gaining an upper hand over the other.

Here, we look at the teams who inflicted the most All-outs in VIVO Pro Kabaddi League Season 8.

PATNA PIRATES (38)

Prashanth Rai-led Patna Pirates put forward their best all-round performance in Season 8 by making it to the finals of the coveted league, only to fall short of Dabang Delhi K.C. in the final who lifted their maiden title. Patna led the season in terms of scoring the most All-outs which amounted to an impressive 38 times. The raiding duo of Sachin, Monu Goyat backed by a strong defence in the form of Mohammadreza Chiyaneh and Neeraj Kumar meant that they were quick to send the opposition out of the mat.

U.P. YODDHA (35)

U.P. Yoddha had an aggressive run in the second half of the tournament with the entire side chipping in at crucial moments and helping the side to the playoffs. From the raiding prowess of Pardeep Narwal and Surender Gill to the solid defense of Nitesh Kumar and Sumit, Yoddhas were responsible for scoring 35 All-outs and stand second on the season’s list.

BENGALURU BULLS (34)

The mighty Bengaluru Bulls have always presented themselves as a strong all-round unit that boasts of raiders like Pawan Sehrawat and Chandran Ranjit who were ably supported by their defenders Saurabh Nandal and Amar. The highly-skilled Bulls affected 34 All-outs in the season, a testimony to them reaching the semi-finals only to be ousted by the eventual champions Dabang Delhi K.C.

PUNERI PALTAN (33)

Anup Kumar-led Puneri Paltan produced some brilliant magic on the mat to sneak into the playoffs and were tipped to be one of the strong semi-final contenders too. The formidable team affected 33 All-outs in Season 8 to stand fourth in the season’s list. While the raiding unit of youngsters Aslam Inamdar and Mohit Goyat took the offence to the opposition, Sombir and Vishal Bhardwaj guarded the defence watchfully.

BENGAL WARRIORS (27)

Season 7 champions Bengal Warriors round off the top 5 teams in the list of most All-outs scored, having scored 27 of them. Though the team failed to make it to the playoffs, skipper Maninder Singh teamed up with Sukesh Hegde to shoulder the raiding responsibilities for the side. They were ably supported by Abozar Migani, Ran Singh and all-rounder Mohammed Nabibakhsh who stood like a rock and formed a strong defence line for the team.
