Thus, defenders are often found hunting in pairs on the kabaddi mat. Here we list the most successful Corner duos in the seventh season of vivo Pro Kabaddi.

1. Sumit and Nitesh Kumar – U.P. Yoddha

U.P. Yoddha had the most successful Corner combination in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7.

U.P. Yoddha Corners Sumit and Nitesh Kumar scored 152 tackle points between them and were by far the best Corner combination of the season. After scoring a century of tackle points in Season 6, Nitesh Kumar had another successful season this year where he finished with 75 tackle points while rookie Sumit scored 77. Sumit also had the joint-most number of High 5s at 7 while Nitesh Kumar was one position below him with 6.

2. Fazel Atrachali and Sandeep Narwal – U Mumba

U Mumba’s defence take down Rohit Gulia from Gujarat Fortunegiants in vivo Pro Kabaddi.

‘Sultan’ Fazel Atrachali had another remarkable season where he finished as the highest-scoring defender of the league with 82 tackle points. His combination with all-rounder Sandeep Narwal in the opposite corner yielded 138 tackle points for U Mumba and was instrumental in the team’s defensive success. The duo also saved the team from All Out situations on multiple occasions and had a combined 10 Super Tackles to show for their efforts.

3. Baldev Singh and Rinku Narwal - Bengal Warriors

Bengal Warriors’ defenders were instrumental in the team winning the vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7 title.

Season 7 title winners Bengal Warriors’ defence was led by their Corner combination of Baldev Singh and Rinku Narwal who combined for 130 tackle points. While Baldev Singh’s strong Back Holds and Blocks fetched him 66 tackle points and a place in the list of top 5 defenders of the season, Rinku Narwal managed just 2 less than him and finished just outside the list.

4. Sandeep Dhull and Amit Hooda - Jaipur Pink Panthers

Amit Hooda and Sandeep Dhull formed a good combination for Jaipur Pink Panthers in vivo Pro Kabaddi.

Sandeep Dhull made his name among the top Left Corners in vivo Pro Kabaddi with an excellent season in Jaipur Pink Panthers threads. Sandeep Dhull finished with 73 tackle points from 22 matches and was the third-best Left Corner in the season. His partner Amit Hooda scored 44 tackle points from just 16 matches at an average of 2.75. Though Amit Hooda missed out on part of the season, which affected the team’s winning run, when the two played together opposition raiders were left searching for answers.

5. Ravinder Pahal and Joginder Narwal – Dabang Delhi K.C.

Dabang Delhi K.C.’s veteran Corners Joginder Narwal and Ravinder Pahal in action in vivo Pro Kabaddi Season 7.

Though Dabang Delhi K.C.’s first appearance in a vivo Pro Kabaddi final was headlined by Naveen Kumar’s Super 10 record, their veteran Corners Joginder Narwal and Ravinder Pahal played a huge part in their campaign. Accounting for 112 of the team’s 221 tackle points, the duo ensured the constant revival of their raiders when it mattered most. Ravinder Pahal’s 63 tackle points also made it his most successful vivo Pro Kabaddi season yet.
