Dabang Delhi K.C. could close-in on third place in battle against Haryana Steelers

An all-northern battle at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Pune will see Dabang Delhi K.C. take on Haryana Steelers, with both teams searching for a win to close the gap on third-placed Puneri Paltan in Zone A.

The previous meeting between the two sides happened just over a fortnight ago where Dabang Delhi K.C. beat Haryana Steelers by a scoreline of 39-33, courtesy of a nine-point night from rookie sensation Naveen Kumar. That victory marked Dabang Delhi K.C.’s first triumph over Haryana Steelers in five attempts.

Vikash Khandola started off the season as a second raider but, when opportunity came knocking, the young raider latched onto it and elevated his game to become Haryana Steelers’ primary raider this campaign. Khandola has clocked 116 raid points in 14 appearances and currently resides in fifth place in the race for Best Raider.

Both these players were expected to play a supporting role in offence but, through their performances, have earned promotions to the primary raider’s spot. A battle between these two rising stars will be front and centre when Dabang Delhi K.C. face-off against Haryana Steelers on Sunday.
