Defending champions U Mumba who had slipped a bit losing to Jaipur Pink Panthers at Vishakhapatnam, came back with a bang to completely outclass Dabang Delhi K.C. who crashed to their fourth successive loss. The team from the financial capital of the nation Mumbai carved out a clinical 30-17 win which takes them to the fourth spot in the Season 3 Star Sports Kabaddi points table. Dabang Delhi K.C. remains in the eighth spot with a solitary point.

The tone was set by U Mumba with an all-out in the 9th minute of play as Anup raided well to score three points. He had support from the ever reliable defence where Surender Nada and Rishank Devadiga who were to rule the territory in the match thereafter. To add to their ever mounting worries the Dabang Delhi K.C side gifted two points to their rivals as the South Korean Seong Ryel Kim lost his cant, a basic thing he should have been aware of.

There was no respite for the losers as they lost star Raider Kashiling Adake followed by Ravindra Pahal the star defender to injuries. Both returned on court after receiving first aid though. The Dabang Delhi K.C attack was so lop-sided that they could muster just one raid point in the first half wherein they trailed 7-16. Although the lead was not big it was significant considering the current state of the Delhi side.

Any hopes the Dabang Delhi fans had harboured were soon dashed a little after resumption with them suffering the second all-out. Skipper Anup slowly got into a better scoring mode. He scored two in a raid to replicate the act of substitute raider Bhupinder. Rishank too came up with a couple of his own to hasten the all-out. In between Rishank of all people came up with three superb tackles getting Rohit Choudhary and Kashiling Adake to complete the all-out. At 28-12 in the 34th minute the writing on the wall was amply clear.

Then onwards it was going through the motions and Dabang Delhi K.C’s tally swelled a bit owing to lapse in concentration by their catchers Mohit and Surender Nada. The duo finished with five and three tackle points. Rishank had a tally of eight with five raid points. Anup led by example netting six and more importantly navigating the ship in his usual cool manner.
