Our run in the Star Sports Pro Kabaddi League so far has been good. We had some problems with our team combination earlier as all of us had not played together, but now we gel well. The team is comprised mostly of youngsters who are aggressive and this quality can act as a deterrent as the actions are based on pure instinct.

Kabaddi is a sport where you need to be prepared mentally as well as physically if you want to beat the other team.

We played our last match against Patna and won. Not every match has to be a back-and-forth contest, and in the last match, we achieved what we set out to do. All our matches have been exciting, but what set the match against Patna Pirates apart is that it was an important game for both teams. We got through in a nail-biting finish and got a well-deserved win.

We are looking forward to playing against the Bengaluru Bulls. It is going to be an intense affair as they have players like Manjeet Chillar and Ajay Thakur and it will be hard for our young team to tackle their experience. Manjeet works surprisingly well as a known entity and he definitely has what it takes. Ajay Thakur might have surprised many as he has dished out an all-round performance which is not common for a big man. However, we will try our best to win this and secure our place in the semis. The young boys in my team are doing well and have a bright future ahead if they work hard on every aspect of their game and stay focused.

I would be lying if I say I'm happy with how I've performed. I am trying my best to regain my full form and deliver what is expected from me. We are at a crucial stage of the tournament and all the matches will be keenly contested. Our aim is to come out trumps in every match.
